South African Airways honored as "Favorite Airline In Africa" by Trazee Travel's Millenials readers

South African Airways' Vice President Commercial for North America, Todd Neuman, proudly accepted the award on the airline's behalf.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – South African Airways (SAA) is proud to receive the first “Favorite Airline in Africa” Trazee Award by Trazee Travel, a unique interactive web publication for travelers aged 18-35, created by Global Traveler Magazine. SAA was presented with the award at an event hosted by Global Traveler Magazine that was hosted during the 2015 Global Business Travel Association Convention in Orlando, July 26 to 29.

South African Airways’ Vice President Commercial for North America, Todd Neuman, proudly accepted the award on the airline’s behalf. Nominations for the first-annual Trazees were collected from the web publication’s contributors, as well as via an online ballot completed by Trazee Travel’s readers. The nominations were compiled and final winners were selected by a panel of travel experts.

“We are honored and grateful that Trazee Travel’s readers selected SAA as their favorite airline in Africa,” said Neuman. “Millennials are travel experts and a very important and discerning segment of the market that is continuing to evolve. We are very proud that they recognized SAA’s products both in the air and on the ground as the best way to start an African adventure.”

“Congratulations to South African Airways, the inaugural winner of Favorite Airline in Africa,” said Kimberly Krol, Trazee Travel’s Editor in Chief. “Offering exceptional services for myriad types of the travelers, it’s no surprise Trazee readers, part of the sought-after 18 to 35 market, recognize the airline as their favorite way to discover the fascinating destination of South Africa.”

South African Airways offers the most flights from the U.S. to South Africa with daily nonstop service from New York-JFK Airport and daily direct service from Washington, DC-Dulles Airport to Johannesburg via Dakar, Senegal. Beginning August 3, 2015, SAA will introduce new nonstop service from Washington, DC Dulles Airport to Accra, Ghana, operating four-days per week. SAA is the only Skytrax 4-Star carrier to offer world-class service between the U.S. and Africa.
