Windstar Cruises has launched a new electronic version of its 2004 Sailing Atlas on its Web site. Customers looking fordetails on the company`s itineraries now have the information at their fingertips 24 hours a day through the colorful and easy to navigate brochure.
The brochure has been designed to open efficiently in all types of browsers no matter the connection speed. No special software is needed. Animated pages are colorful and easy to navigate with arrows that appear to turn the pages. A table of contents on the right hand side of the page allows users to sort by chapter. A print option at the bottom of each page allows users to print individual pages out of the brochure.
To cut down on waiting time, all pages are downloaded in low resolution and a zoom option provides two levels of magnification.
