UVL Fourth Annual Expo a huge success

Unique Venues of London (UVL) has announced it held its most successful Expo on 2 October at the Somerset House Embankment Galleries.

UVL Fourth Annual Expo saw a record number of attendees come to see members showcase their venues. Guests enjoyed refreshments provided by Table Talk and Blue Strawberry, and two tours around Somerset House, taking in some of the hidden passages and memorials at the venue.

Richard Dodgson, Creative Director from Time Based Events spoke of the Olympic legacy in London, and highlighted how the programme of events over the summer has paved the way for other events in the UK.

A fully-booked FAM trip then took guests to four of the UVL members; HMS Belfast, Museum of London, Trinity House and Tower Bridge, before an evening event at Tower Bridge rounded off the successful day.

Moya Maxwell, Head of Commercial Programming at the Royal Opera House and Chairman of UVL, comments: “We are delighted with the turnout at our fourth Expo, and remain very proud of the fact that we have so many unique venues able to hold fantastic and memorable events. It was a very successful day that we hope to emulate in future years, and we thank Conference News for their support as media partner this year.”
