WestJet's 2015-2016 winter schedule enhances service across its network

WestJet's regional airline, WestJet Encore, will also begin service three times a day to Boston, its first U.S. destination, with convenient connections via Toronto Pearson.

CALGARY – WestJet announced it is launching new non-stop service to Florida, Mexico and Costa Rica, as well as adding more than 85 flights across its growing domestic and international network, as part of its winter 2015-2016 flight schedule. WestJet’s regional airline, WestJet Encore, will also begin service three times a day to Boston, its first U.S. destination, with convenient connections via Toronto Pearson.

“WestJet continues to enhance its strong position in key sun markets with the addition of more destinations in areas popular with Canadian travellers,” said Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development. “Our upcoming winter schedule also adds many new routes, extends routes from seasonal to year-round and increases frequencies within Canada to improve our business and leisure products. And we’re excited to bring on stream our Boeing 767-300ER aircraft to fly between Alberta and Hawaii this winter – yet another important milestone for WestJet.”
