The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge heads to Seville

The Budapest Marathon 2023 is the 8th edition of the global competition that allows City Sightseeing to share the passion of running and travel with three lucky winners, giving them the opportunity to experience some of the world’s most iconic destinations through marathons.

The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge has opened participation to runners from all over the world who could win an experience of a lifetime in Budapest, Hungary, during the Budapest Marathon 2023, on 15 October. Applications have to be submitted before 31 August via the competition site: themarathonchallenge.com. On 5 September, City Sightseeing will announce three winners in the following categories: “Best Time (Male)”, “Best Time (Female)”, and “Best Story” in response to: “Why would you like to run in the Budapest Marathon in 2023?”

The Budapest Marathon 2023 is the 8th edition of the global competition that allows City Sightseeing to share the passion of running and travel with three lucky winners, giving them the opportunity to experience some of the world’s most iconic destinations through marathons. By taking part in IAAF Gold / Silver / Bronze Label marathons, The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge winners discover each city thanks to City Sightseeing, including an open-top double-decker bus tour and tickets to the most popular tourist attractions, along with free flights, accommodation, meals, and transfers.

The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge is the global brand’s competition focused on running and travel lovers, giving them the opportunity to experience their dream marathon and discover City Sightseeing destinations.

Each edition, The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge awards three runners in the following categories: Best Time (Male), Best Time (Female), and Best Story.

In the previous seven editions, The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge have awarded runners and travellers from the USA, Germany, New Zealand, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Spain, among other countries.

The participation period for the 8th edition of The City Sightseeing Marathon Challenge is open until 31 August. The three lucky winners will be announced on 5 September. The Budapest Marathon will be held on 15 October, 2023.
