Mleiha Archaeological Centre, a popular destination under the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), is organizing exclusive yoga retreats, providing enthusiasts to indulge in a rejuvenating, relaxing, and nourishing experience.
Offering an evening of Yoga, Meditation, Star Gazing, Camping and much more, the retreat will bring together like-minded individuals and also offers a perfect opportunity to explore the beauty and serenity of the Mleiha desert in the winter.
Event Details
The retreats are scheduled at the picturesque Mleiha Desert campsite on the following dates: 27 January, 17 February, and 9 March 2024. Tailored to cater to diverse preferences, the 17 February
session will be a mixed event, while the 27 January and 9 March sessions are exclusively reserved for ladies.
Participants can choose between “Sunset Yoga” and “Overnight Yoga,” tailoring their experience to personal preferences. The Sunset Yoga session, commencing at 4:30 p.m., integrates grounding
movements, mindful practices, and gentle breathing to synchronize body and mind with the setting sun. Following this, a stargazing session, complemented by an expert-guided stargazing session and a delicious BBQ dinner, sets the stage for an evening of tranquility. The evening activities will conclude by 9.30 p.m., with a peaceful meditation session around the bonfire.
For those seeking an extended retreat, the “Overnight Yoga” option includes a unique opportunity to spend the night under the stars. This immersive experience also features an enchanting Sunrise Yoga session, a morning off-road drive in the scenic Mleiha desert, and a wholesome breakfast at the campsite, in addition to the offerings of the Sunset Yoga package. The overnight experience will conclude by 8:30 a.m. the next day.
