15below announces strategic partnership with Navitaire

As part of this strategic alliance, 15below has redeveloped all integration points with Navitaire, leveraging digital APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).

Following the success of 15below’s partnership with Navitaire’s parent company, Amadeus, since 2019, 15below – the travel industry’s leading provider of automated passenger communications – has announced a strategic partnership with Navitaire, combining their expertise to further enhance airline operations and traveller satisfaction.

15below has been working with carriers using Navitaire solutions since 2003, and nearly 25% of Navitaire customers are currently using the 15below platform to support their passenger notifications. This collaboration will allow the two tech companies to offer airlines and rail companies the benefit of joint product development, deeper API integrations, operational efficiencies, and an enhanced customer experience for their guests.

“We have been partnering to support airline and rail industry passenger notifications within the Navitaire community for more than 20 years, working together with dozens of Navitaire customers during that time. Now that we have a more formal partnership agreement, these and many other travel brands using Navitaire’s reservation system will be able to benefit from our combined vision to reduce the stress of travel and deliver an enhanced customer experience in any situation.” said Nicholas Key, CEO of 15below. “The partnership with Navitaire will unlock new opportunities for innovation, enabling us to deliver even greater value to our shared customers.”

As part of this strategic alliance, 15below has redeveloped all integration points with Navitaire, leveraging digital APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). This significant technical advancement offers improved performance and introduces new features that will only be accessible through these enhancements. Customers can look forward to experiencing the new integrated solutions starting July 2023, as the rollout begins.

“We’re looking forward to the opportunities that the partnership with 15below provides to help our airline customers deliver a better experience for their travelers,” said David P. Evans, Navitaire CEO. “This agreement will strengthen our integration and fuel greater collaboration and innovation in the future.”

Not only benefiting 15below’s existing Navitaire customers, this partnership will open up opportunities for development and innovation for its entire customer base of nearly 60 of the world’s best known travel brands.
