Teletext Holidays rolls out new TV ad’ campaign

Online travel agency Teletext Holidays has invested heavily in its marketing, with a major turn-of-year television advertisement campaign.

Debuting on 26 December 2019, a ‘Great Deal to Talk About’ TV advertisement will run daytime slots, with 10 and 30-second adverts on music, travel and education channels plus ITV.

Highlighting the conversation that Teletext Holidays has been having with its customers for the past 27 years, the campaign seeks to promote to consumers the ease and value in consulting with their skilled call centre team about their holiday plans. Positioning the Teletext Holidays’ team as the ‘Teletextperts’, the advert reminds viewers that the expert booking team are ready to help them find their perfect holiday.

The advert features a sequence of people in everyday scenarios talking about their holiday plans to someone out of frame. However, each time, there is a discrete and surreal reveal to show that in fact, the person they have been talking to is a Teletextpert agent who is providing expert advice. Highlighting that you don’t need to be sat in front of a device – you can simply call and talk to us!

In a cross-channel approach, ‘A Great Deal to Talk About’ will be supported across online, press, radio, YouTube, display advertising, social media, email marketing, PPC and PR.
