Helga Geistanger (50) was appointed the managing director of TUI Service AG in Altendorf, Switzerland, with effect from 6 November 2002.
Helga Geistanger has worked for TUI Service AG since 1976. She started as an overseas tour guide working in places such as Spain, Italy, Madeira, Rhodes, Sri Lanka and Romania. Since 1985, she has occupied various management positions for different destinations. In 1998, she took over as Manager Italy, France, Non-flight Countries and Far West.
TUI Service AG is TUI AG`s global tour guide organisation responsible for 1500 staff looking after 2.7 million customers in over 100 countries.
