Approximately 400 candidates from Niš and the surrounding area applied for the open call for new Contact Centre agents at Air Serbia, which was concluded on 8 March 2023.Additional Air Serbia capacities in Niš, with a total of 60 new employees, have started operating. In just a month and a half, the national airline conducted a recruitment drive, selected and trained new Contact Centre agents in Niš, who officially started working at an exclusive location in downtown Niš. In addition, ten new CLC agents from Niš joined Air Serbia Ground Services (ASGS), a subsidiary of Air Serbia, and will provide support for aircraft ground operations.

In this way, the national airline has strengthened its team with 60 new employees from Niš and the surrounding area, contributing to the local community in which it has been operating successfully for many years.

“We are extremely pleased with the start of our new capacities in Niš, of which we have high expectations. On the other hand, we are also pleased that our business activities directly contribute to the local economic development of Niš and the surrounding area,” said Boško Rupić, Air Serbia General Manager Commercial and Strategy. He added that the Niš branch of the National Employment Service had provided significant technical support to the Serbian national airline in the implementation of the project.

“Thanks to this cooperation, we received significant logistic and technical support as well as a room for training new Air Serbia employees from the Nišava district. Most of the selected candidates have already been trained and have started working. They currently work under the supervision of colleagues from the Belgrade Contact Centre, and they will start working independently in a few days. Training for the second group of new agents is underway, who will join their co-workers after passing the tests. We expect all 50 agents to be active by the end of April,” said Rupić.

Approximately 400 candidates from Niš and the surrounding area applied for the open call for new Contact Centre agents at Air Serbia, which was concluded on 8 March 2023. During the open day held in mid-March, 50 new Contact Centre agents were tested and selected, and they subsequently underwent a two-week training program. The exceptional response to the call
and the qualifications of the candidates led to Air Serbia hiring 50 new agents for its Contact Centre in Niš in the first phase, instead of the initially planned 20.
