Air Serbia jοins My First Salary program

Air Serbia will participate in the Serbian Government’s program entitled My First Salary for the fourth consecutive time, thus once again providing the opportunity for unemployed young
people to gain their first work experience in the national airline. Candidates interested in working at Air Serbia can apply until 6 December 2023, on the official website of the My First Salary program.

“Air Serbia is opening its doors again this year to unemployed young people of up to 30 years of age, with secondary and higher education, who wish to enhance their education through an
internship in our company. During the nine months of the My First Salary program, young people will have the opportunity to develop their professional competencies and gain additional skills valuable for their careers through daily work with our colleagues, and experts in various fields. For those who want to gain their first work experience in the Serbian national airline, there are 55 positions available in various departments, for which we plan to hire 85 candidates. During the previous three rounds of the program, Air Serbia provided practical education to 71 candidates, and 30 of them were employed in our company after completing the program. We expect great interest during the current, fourth round of the My First Salary program, and by mid-December, we will welcome new young colleagues at Air Serbia,” said Milica Netković, General Manager People and Performance at Air Serbia.

Participants in the My First Salary program will have the opportunity to gain work experience in the following organizational units of Air Serbia during the nine months: Legal Affairs, Corporate
Affairs, Security, Uniforms, Fuel, Property, Procurement, Technical, Ground Handling, Flight Operations, Network Operations Centre, Crew Planning & Control, Training, Cabin Crew Operations, Safety and Compliance, Finance, Information Technology, Revenue Management, Marketing, Retail shops and Customer Support, Sales, E-commerce, Cargo and Human Resources.

The program is conducted by the National Employment Service with the support of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of
Belgrade, 14 November 2023 Youth and Sports, the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration, and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
