David Ciceo, CEO, Cluj International Airport delivered the opening keynote at Aviation Event 2024 CLJ hosted together with Cluj International Airport and Romanian Airports Association (RAA).

The conference, organized by Aviation-Event, Cluj International Airport and RAA, brought together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders from around the globe to discuss key challenges, opportunities, and trends shaping the future of aviation. With a focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth, the event provided a platform for insightful discussions, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Andrew Charlton, Managing Director, Aviation Advocacy acted as moderator for the last panel of the day, leading Bastiaan de Bruijne, General Counsel, ACI EUROPE, Frank Quante, CEO, Fraport Bulgaria, Narcis Obeada, Commercial Director, TAROM, Delia Dimitriu, Director Smarter Mobility Solutions, UK & Strategic Adviser COMOTI, RO and Alexander Schroll, Director Business Development, EVIA AERO in a discussion about the role of airports and airlines in terms of future developments of regional air connectivity.
