A stunning new outdoor pool has launched this summer at Hotel Lone, Croatia’s only member of Design Hotels. Designed in line with the hotel’s stylish exterior, the novelty comes with three seawater pools, circled by a matching white stone terrace, deck chairs and parasols.
Connected with the relax pool via a waterfall, the aqua-fun pool comes with a 25-metre swimming track, an area for aqua aerobics, and various water features, including geysers, whirlpools and massage jets. Separately, a small shallow pool caters for children.
Within a few steps from the pool is the new Oleander restaurant, providing a decked terrace sheltered by the surrounding Zlatni Rt (Golden Cape) forest park, where guests can enjoy dishes created by sister property Hotel Monte Mulini’s acclaimed Executive Chef, Tomislav Gretic. While light bites prepared on the grill or stone oven are served during the day, the restaurant transforms in the evening to offer a steak house and lounge bar. Additionally, refreshments and snacks are available at the poolside bar.
The new pool has been arranged within the contours of the hotel’s former pool, but built on six different levels, in keeping with the natural landscape and offering undisturbed views of the nearby Lone bay.
