Colorado’s Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa promotes Jennifer Razee to Director of Club & Spa

AVON, COLO. – The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley announce that it has promoted Jennifer Razee to the position of Director of Club & Spa at the award-winning resort, which is managed by East West Hospitality.

It has also hired Michelle Guida to serve as Club Manager at the Athletic Club at The Westin.

Razee rejoined The Westin Riverfront team last summer as the Assistant Director of Club & Spa. Passionate about fitness and spa management, Razee started her hospitality career with East West Hospitality more than 20 years ago. While with East West Hospitality, she held numerous leadership positions at The Westin Riverfront, the Vail Athletic Club and the Well & Being Spa in the Lionshead Marriott. She served on East West’s Corporate Mountains of Wellness Committee, coordinated employee snowshoe and mountain bike teams and served as a Westin Service Culture Champion, facilitating service training standards for all new hires.

Razee also previously served as the Director of Dryland Fitness & Spa at Gravity Haus Vail. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, Razee is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist who has competed in multiple triathlon world championships, including XTERRA and Ironman races. She is also a Trail Leader for the Vail Valley Mountain Trail Alliance’s Adopt a Trail program.

Guida is rejoining East West Hospitality after previously serving as the Fitness Desk Supervisor at the Athletic Club at The Westin for more than two years. A graduate of Colorado State University, Guida has also served as a Human Resources Executive Team Leader for Target and an Office Manager for Coldwell Banker. An avid adventurer, Guida recently returned from spending a year in Spain.

The Athletic Club at The Westin & Spa Anjali features 27,000 square feet of spa, fitness and wellness facilities, all with extraordinary views, along with access to The Westin Riverfront’s 25-yard outdoor lap saltwater pool and three infinity hot tubs. The Westin Riverfront recently completed a $500,000 upgrade to its Athletic Club, including the addition of an extensive line of TechnoGym strength and cardio equipment and the creation of Studio M: Mikaela Shiffrin Performance Studio, a workout space inspired by Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, who trains at the facility when she is in Colorado.

Named the “Best Workout Spot” and “Best Pilates Studio” in the 2022 Best of Vail Valley Awards, the Athletic Club at The Westin offers more than 50 group exercise classes weekly, including Master Swim, Peloton, Pilates Barre, Vinyasa Flow, Group Reformer, TRX and Aerial Yoga.

The Westin Riverfront offers 230 guest residences, each featuring a custom kitchen, five-piece bathroom, gas fireplace and Westin Heavenly Bed. The resort is home to Stoke & Rye, a new modern American grill by Chef Richard Sandoval restaurant and the Riverfront Market, which offers savory to-go meals & snacks along with a carefully curated selection of retail items. The Westin Riverfront also offers a Starbucks and The Lookout Lobby Bar, which serves an extensive selection of craft cocktails & local microbrews with seasonal live music.

Located in the heart of the Vail Valley, The Westin Riverfront features more than 17,000 total square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including the 4,000 square foot Riverside Ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows highlighting stunning Beaver Creek Mountain views, plus a beautifully landscaped Wedding Lawn and a 2,000 square foot outdoor banquet terrace.
