Cavotec wins aircraft fuelling orders worth more than 5 million euros

Also Cavotec has won two major ground support equipment (GSE) and fuelling orders – one for Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and the other for Beijing Capital International Airport.

Cavotec has won two fuelling orders worth more than 5 million euros, confirming its position as a preferred supplier of advanced systems for the global aviation fuelling market. The new orders include the manufacture and supply of 100 aviation fuelling pits for two installations, one in the US and one in Europe.

Cavotec's current order book for fuelling systems indicates an increased global market share to approximately 50 per cent of a market estimated to be worth 50 million euros on an annual basis. The Group's increasing market share and expanding fuelling base is set to further benefit from after-sales service support to the segment.

Mikael Norin, CEO, says; "As the preferred supplier for a large number of critical applications worldwide, Cavotec provides the build quality and unique engineering know-how to meet the exacting specifications of the world’s most demanding fuelling applications and environments. We continue to build on our successful track record to further expand our market share in this growing segment.”

Cavotec manufacturers a comprehensive range of innovative aviation utility systems that ensure aircraft are serviced safely, efficiently and sustainably. Design and manufacturing of the Group's fuel pits takes place in Stockton-on-Tees in the UK and in Cypress, California, in the US.

This is information that Cavotec SA is obliged to make public pursuant to the EU Market Abuse Regulation. The information was submitted for publication, through the agency of the contact person set out above, at 14:00 CEST on 30 March, 2020.

"We want to contribute to a future world that is cleaner, safer and more efficient by providing innovative connection solutions for ships, aircraft and mobile equipment today."

Cavotec wins major orders for airports in China valued at EUR 3m.
Also Cavotec has won two major ground support equipment (GSE) and fuelling orders – one for Chengdu Tianfu International Airport and the other for Beijing Capital International Airport – confirming the Group’s position as a leading supplier and systems integrator for the fast growing Asian aviation market. The combined value of these two orders is more than EUR 3 million.

For Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Cavotec will supply a range of fuelling and electrical power connection systems including valve access covers, boarding bridge cable coilers, 400Hz output power cables, and 400Hz aircraft connectors.

In the Group’s latest order from Beijing Capital International Airport, Cavotec is to supply more than 100 coilers units, service cables and 400Hz connectors at the airport’s three terminals. This order also includes a service package for the installation and commissioning of the equipment.

Earlier this week, we announced orders worth more than 5 million euros for 100 aviation fuelling pits for two installations, one in the US and one in Europe.

“Our comprehensive range of innovative GSE, including 400Hz, pre-conditioned air, and fuelling systems, ensure aircraft are serviced safely, efficiently and sustainably at gates, maintenance facilities and remote aprons are recognized by customers all over the world and we are happy to be making larger and larger inroads into the Asian market,” says Juergen Strommer, President, Cavotec Airports & Industry.
