GENEVA – MCI, the global leader in meetings, events, congresses, association management and strategic consulting, announce that Oscar Cerezales, Global Executive Vice President Corporate Division, was honoured with the PCMA 2019 Chairman's Award. The ceremony took place last week in San Francisco at the PCMA Convening Leaders.
PCMA is the world's largest, most respected and most recognised network of Business Events Strategists. The Chairman's Award takes place yearly at Convening Leaders. This year around 4,300 participants came to the conference. The prize is given to an individual, group or an organisation for their unique achievements and contributions to the business events industry in the previous year.
Oscar Cerezales received the award for his significant contributions to the business events industry. He has co-developed strategic plans for PCMA within Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions. Most recently, Cerezales designed the Leadership Summit programme for C-suite and senior-level leaders at Convening Leaders 2020 in San Francisco as well as at the European Influences Summit 2019 in Barcelona.
Oscar Cerezales, MCI Global Executive VP Corporate Division, is an expert in the international meetings and events industry, having worked for the company for more than ten years across three different markets in three different continents. At MCI, Oscar is responsible for corporate brand operations, assessing their potential and recommending solutions to drive growth and innovate business models. Drawing on MCI's global network of expertise, he ensures that brands are leveraging their potential to generate revenue, be agile, future-focused and competitive.
