CHICAGO – With registrations still flooding in, SITE Hybrid Conference 2021, is destined to set a new bar for registrations at the association’s annual event.

Last year over 650 incentive travel professionals gathered in-person in Vancouver to connect, learn, discover and shape the future of the incentive travel industry. This year, almost 1,200 have signed up for the hybrid edition, with delegates joining from 53 global nations. Smaller, in-person gatherings are taking place simultaneously in Chicago and Dallas with due public health protocols in place.

The theme of this year’s event “The Power within us and among us” highlights personal courage and community strength as key attributes of SITE’s Global community.

“Now, more than ever, it’s imperative that the global community of incentive travel professionals is consolidated, unified and focused on a common goal: building our industry back better than ever. Since the onset of the pandemic SITE members have been connecting virtually, learning new skills and discovering different ways to run their businesses. Since March 2020 we have been resolved and resilient and now, with vaccination programs in place all over the world, we need to plan, not just for resumption and recovery, but for regeneration. SITE Hybrid Conference is our opportunity to review what we do and reset to build back better”, said Aoife Delaney, CIS, CITP, President SITE & Director of Marketing & Sales, The DMC Network.

Head of Events for SITE, Tahira Endean, CITP, CMP, CED, DES added: “Our main stage sessions will include standing favourites such as the society’s AGM, our Chapter & Crystal Awards, the ever-popular SITE storytellers series and four truly inspirational keynotes. But each day also offers specific, curated content delivered under 4 pillars – the Business Case for Incentive Travel, Personal Resilience, Innovation & Transition and Regeneration: Emerging Sustainability. Across these tracks, we will hear from CEOs and MDs from more than 30 organizations. Constant, on-going networking is also possible via The Meetings Hub on our chosen virtual platform, OnAir. We’ll also deploy Twilio to replicate the serendipitous networking, those chance encounters that’re part and parcel of our in-person events.”

SITE Hybrid Conference takes place thanks to the ongoing dedication of our international boards of directors and trustees, the indefatigability of our executive leadership team, the proactive contribution of our chapter network and, of course, the financial and in-kind support of our 24 generous sponsors.
