Air Malta Winter schedule launched

Air Malta has launched its new winter schedule of operations running up to end of March 2014.

“During this season we plan to operate over 100 weekly flights and carry over half a million passengers to and from Malta. Our winter schedule will offer customers a choice of 26 scheduled destinations and the best connections and services to major European gateways,” said Philip Saunders, Air Malta’s Chief Commercial Officer.

“This winter we have increased substantially our frequencies on Russia and will operate three weekly flights on a charter basis to Israel. We have also revised our code share agreements to offer a wider range of destinations as well as enhance flight connections to Malta from destinations beyond our network”, added Saunders.

This winter Air Malta will be operating direct flights to/from: Amsterdam, Athens, Benghazi, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, London (Gatwick and Heathrow), Manchester, Milan, Moscow (Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo), Munich, Paris (Charles de Gaulle and Orly), Rome, Sofia, Tripoli, Vienna and Zurich. The airline will also be operating intra-European flights between Amsterdam and Brussels, Catania and Munich as well as between Athens and Sofia.

Air Malta will be retaining the same code-share agreements offering more connectivity with destinations beyond Air Malta’s network. The list of current code share partner airlines includes Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines, Austrian, Swiss, Meridiana, Turkish Airlines, Aeroflot, Etihad and Emirates.

Air Malta’s online timetable is available at airmalta.com. The portal also offers other travel related facilities including hotel accommodation, car hire and travel insurance.
