airberlin now represented by Aviareps in the Baltic States

Germany’s second largest carrier starts cooperation with world’s leading airline and tourism representative.

MUNICH – With immediate effect, the world’s leading airline and tourism representative Aviareps represents airberlin in the Baltic States: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The services will include sales and marketing.

airberlin’s inaugural flight in April 1979 from Berlin to Mallorca set the beginning of a success story. Today, airberlin is one of Europe’s leading airlines and flies to 150 destinations in 40 countries. Through the strategic partnership with Etihad Airways and the membership in the airline alliance oneworld airberlin offers its flight guests even more destinations.

In terms of passenger numbers the airberlin group is in seventh place amongst European carriers and carried more than 35million passengers in 2012.

For airberlin guests, travelling in 2013 will be even more varied and more comfortable. The airline is ready for takeoff with new destinations, for example Chicago, Warsaw and Madrid, a new Business Class and a larger network for summer 2013. The fleet has an average age of five years and is among the most modern and eco-efficient in Europe.
