Zeus launches Russia-Cyprus flights

Cypriot tour operator Zeus Travel has introduced charter flights from the Russian city of Chelyabinsk to Cyprus<.>. The company believes the decision will further boost the number of Russian clients it serves. Zeus Travel in Russia, whose key shareholder is the Cypriot-based company of the same name, is a leader in the field of outgoing tourism.

Zeus Travel`s managing director Christos Hadjipantelis told TDN: `Zeus organises tours from Russia – through its subsidiary which opened in Moscow in 1994 – to Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and the Caribbean. The packages being promoted in the Russian market through a network of 500 operators throughout the country. The programme for Cyprus, where Zeus is the largest organiser of tours from Russia, serves around 10,000 clients annually.`

Zeus offers tours from Cyprus to the Greek isles, the Caribbean, Cuba and the Dominican Republic while it is also the Cypriot representative for P&O Lines.
