Both Founder Toby Warren and Sales and Marketing Manager Susie Reynolds are keen horsemen, Toby having grown up riding across the plains of Lewa in Kenya, and Susie, hailing from the no less wild, yet not quite as exotic Dartmoor, where she rode from a young age. Keen to share passions with which they are well acquainted, they have sourced some of the best equine holidays and horse related activities throughout the destinations they offer.
From full horseback safaris in Africa to galloping across Australia’s outback on a working cattle station, a variety of opportunities are on offer to guests, whether the central ingredient to a holiday or as part of a larger itinerary.
“A horseback safari allows you to get closer to the action than you otherwise would by vehicle or by foot, whilst also gaining access to remote areas of wilderness untouched by the wheels of a car. The magic of cantering alongside giraffe and elephant on safari is not to be underestimated” says Warren.
“We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy some really special encounters such as riding Marwari horses across the Rajasthan desert and learning to play polo in Dubai. We’re constantly discovering new opportunities such as wine tours by horseback in South Africa and Australia and we pride ourselves on being able to offer our guests the same tried and tested experiences.”
