From Domodedovo to city of legendary musicians: Germania launches flight Bremen-Moscow

The flights will be operated three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Comfortable airliners Airbus A319 and Boeing 737 will fly on this route.

On 7 May 2013 the airline Germania -new partner of Domodedovo Airport– is launching a regular service between Moscow and Bremen. The destination is unique for Moscow air hub – a direct service between Russian airports and Bremen has never existed before.

The flights will be operated three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Comfortable airliners Airbus A319 and Boeing 737 will fly on this route.

Just in three hours travellers departing from Domodedovo will reach the city, whose calling card still remains a sculpture of The Musicians of Bremen by Gerhard Marcks.

The streets of Bremen combine in a remarkable manner both architectural masterpieces from different epochs and ultramodern buildings.  One can see old-time windmills and visit the interactive Universum Science Centre. This stunningly green city is perfect for a family holiday, and B?rger Park – the most famous city park – is proud of its 140-year history.

Besides its cultural traditions Bremen is well known as an economic cluster and the largest urban agglomeration in North-West Germany. Bremen’s developed economy is export-oriented and Russia holds a significant place on the external contacts map. The direct flight to Moscow is expected to be popular not only among the tourists, but also amongst business travellers from both countries.

For Domodedovo, Bremen is the sixth German city, connected to the airport by regular flights, joining Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Munich and Frankfurt.

With Germania the number of Domodedovo Airport airlines-partners has now reached 81, the route map covers 238 destinations, 77 out of which are unique for the Moscow air hub.
