Loyalty Awards to recognise most innovative travel loyalty programmes

The Loyalty Awards are the only aviation industry awards voted for by loyalty professionals, making them highly sought after by the winners.

LONDON – Airline Business, the aviation industry publication, and frequent flyer management company Global Flight have opened nominations for the prestigious Loyalty Awards, which will be celebrated as part of the 6th annual Loyalty Conference which will take place in Amsterdam from 17-19 February 2014.

The Loyalty Awards are the only industry awards voted for by loyalty professionals, making them highly sought after by the winners. All loyalty programme operators have until 13 December to nominate their programme via the conference website in one of the three Awards categories, Management, Technology or CRM.

A judging panel of four loyalty professionals will then assess all nominations and select the winners. The winners will be announced at the 6th Loyalty Conference gala dinner in Amsterdam.

The latest winners announced in February 2013 were airBaltic (Technology), Virgin Australia (Management) and Virgin America (CRM). “These winners and the wide range of nominations received show that loyalty innovations take nowadays place at programmes not necessarily in the focus of attention of the public”, explains Ravindra Bhagwanani, Managing Director of Global Flight and Chairman of the Loyalty Conference. “Both the Awards and the Loyalty Conference itself cater for that diversity, making it truly the global meeting place of the travel loyalty industry.”

Loyalty specialists from around 50 companies have already confirmed their attendance at Loyalty 2014 more than three months prior to the event. The agenda will feature high level speakers from companies including Air France/KLM, Delta, AirAsia, airBaltic, SkyTeam, Accor, Sixt, China Rewards and Αmsterdam Marketing.
