Atta and South African Tourism forge a strategic alliance

Atta will now work closely with SAT to strengthen the new initiatives that will shape the future of Africa’s leading trade show, Indaba, held annually in Durban.

Atta
– The African Travel & Tourism Association – has this week forged a new strategic alliance with South African Tourism (SAT).

Atta CEO, Nigel Vere Nicoll, and SAT Chief Marketing Officer, Jan Hutton, held extensive meetings  in Marrakech, Morocco which have established that the two tourism bodies will now promote  a meaningful working relationship, identifying key areas of collaboration that will touch all areas of tourism to South Africa.

One key area of close collaboration will be trade exhibitions. Atta is already a substantial player in the exhibition calendar, the largest private sector exhibitor at Indaba for many years. Atta will now work closely with SAT to strengthen the new initiatives that will shape the future of Africa’s leading trade show, Indaba, held annually in Durban. This new initiative will complement Atta’s existing partnership with South African Airways, the associations nominated airline partner for 2014.
