Crystal Cruises expands use of shipboard credits to wage in Crystal casinos

Luxury line raises the stakes, making it more convenient than ever for guests to play.

LOS ANGELES – Luxury cruise leader Crystal Cruises is expanding its onboard options by allowing travelers to convert shipboard credits in the form of non-cashable slot vouchers or special table game chips in the casinos. Effective with Crystal Symphony’s March 9 Singapore to Hong Kong sailing and Crystal Serenity’s March 13 Perth to Cape Town voyage, guests can convert shipboard credit in denominations of $5, $10 or $25 vouchers for slots; and $5 or $25 for table games, with no maximum limit.

“Our guests are savvy travelers who relish a multitude of thrills, including trying their hands at the tables and slots,” says Crystal president, Edie Rodriguez. “The new use of shipboard credit in our casinos is another benefit to Crystal’s all-inclusive experience and further enhances our onboard enrichment.”

While the slot vouchers or special table game chips used from shipboard credits are not redeemable for cash themselves, winning wagers will be paid in cashable vouchers and chips. Any remaining table games chips or unused slot vouchers can be re-deposited to the guest’s shipboard credit account for use toward any other applicable Crystal amenity or experience, including indulgent spa treatments or thrilling Crystal Adventures ashore.  Shipboard credit vouchers in the casino are not refundable once they are used and lost.

Crystal’s lavish onboard casinos on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity are elegantly stylish venues offering Nevada-style gaming and glittering excitement. Thrilling games of Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, 3 Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Mini-Baccarat (on request), as well as slot and video poker machines are available. Casinos are open to all guests age 18 and over, and are subject to closure in various ports.
