Qatar Airways offers new online benefits to privilege Club Frequent Flyer Members

Qatar Airways has upgraded Qmiles.com, its Privilege Club website for frequent flyer members to offer increased benefits for the airline’s most loyal customers. Members can now instantly redeem their accrued Qmiles through simply booking and issuing their award tickets online at Qmiles.com.

The enhancement allows Privilege Club members to check the availability of award seats for the month of the requested date of travel and for upcoming months. This makes the redemption process faster and more transparent for the customer and offers more options to decide when to travel and redeem Qmiles.

The Qmiles.com site allows customers not only to book, but also to pay taxes online and to receive an e-ticket, which can easily be printed at home or in the office.

The new facility offers Privilege Club members who have accrued sufficient Qmiles to redeem an award ticket and to combine different cabin classes of their journey. For instance, on a flight from London to Singapore, the customer can choose to fly in First Class from London to Doha, and connect onwards from Qatar Airways’ hub in Economy Class to its final destination of Singapore.

Furthermore, if members do not have sufficient Qmiles for their desired award ticket, the new booking engine will offer them the opportunity to purchase additional ones.

With the enhanced Privilege Club website, Qatar Airways has yet again taken a major step towards increasing passengers’ travel experience making it not only rewarding, but also hassle-free and more convenient as award tickets can now be booked and paid online from the comfort of one’s home or office.

But there are even more benefits for Privilege Club members, as they can now choose to redeem their awards tickets using Qmiles plus Cash. This allows members to redeem their award tickets using part Qmiles and part Cash option.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said that the airline had won tremendous amount of support over the years from the Privilege Club loyalty programme.

“The upgraded Privilege Club website positions us among the leading airline loyalty programmes in the Middle East with the high value it offers members and the breadth of product choices,” he said.

Qatar Airways’ Frequent Flyer Programme regularly runs promotions as a thank you to Privilege Club members and has established itself as one of the most generous loyalty schemes in the world. Privilege Club members earn Qmiles every time they fly Qatar Airways or when they use any of the services of programme partners, including co-branded credit cards, hotels and partner airlines.

Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of 69 aircraft to 82 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Far East and North America. The airline has outstanding orders for more than 220 aircraft worth over US$40 billion.

Over the next few months, Qatar Airways will expand its global operations with the launch of 6 new routes – Amritsar (October 11) and Goa (October 25) in India; Melbourne (December 6) followed soon after by Sydney marking the airline’s entry into the Australian market; and two further cities in Europe.
