ALHI expands Luxury portfolio in Mexico

The brand-new Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta accepted into Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI).

ORLANDO, FL – Puerto Vallarta, Mexico’s brand-new resort Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta – All Inclusive Adults Only, which just opened in September 2015, has been accepted into the prestigious Membership portfolio of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). The elegant beachfront resort, which is a superb venue for meetings and incentive/recognition programs, is surrounded by the picturesque Sierra Madre Mountains and overlooks the deep blue Pacific. It becomes ALHI’s first Member resort in Puerto Vallarta, located on Mexico’s West Coast, and ALHI’s sixth luxury resort in Mexico. The ALHI Global Sales Organization (GSO) now represents the exceptional new resort to North American meeting professionals, association executives, business executives, and incentive specialists. The announcement was made by ALHI President Jim Schultenover.

Situated on a stunning stretch of Pacific coastline just west of the tropical rainforests of the Sierra Madre Mountains, the chic new Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta features 443 spacious and modern suites, which offer incredible Pacific Ocean views and private balconies. The resort’s 10 meeting rooms can hold up to 1,300 people, with a total of 12,787 square feet of meeting space. Additional resort offerings include a spa, fitness center, seven restaurants, five bars (including the stylish “Divina” sky bar that features a DJ), and four themed lounges. The resort is just five minutes from the Historical Downtown district (which features charming cobblestone streets), and from the famous “Malecon” boardwalk, which boasts an impressive array of shops, restaurants and galleries. Area recreational options include visits to the rocky arch formation known as “Arcos de Vallarta,” rainforest hikes, rappelling, and zip-lining through the jungle. Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is just 20 minutes from the resort.

Grand Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta joins as ALHI’s sixth Member resort in Mexico.
