A groundbreaking in-room DJ experience – launched Nov. 22 at Hard Rock Mix Up in the newly unveiled Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs.

ORLANDO, FLA. – Hard Rock International – with hotel locations from Bali to Cancun, San Diego to Singapore and Chicago to Macau – announces the brand-wide debut of mix., an in-room DJ experience and the latest component of Hard Rock’s global all-encompassing music amenity program, The Sound of Your Stay, available now at all 17 Hotels & Casinos around the globe. Boldly recognized for its ability to provide inimitable and unforgettable encounters, Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos now offers guests the chance to be a part of the EDM movement and turn a hotel room into a mega club. While matching beats like a pro, Hard Rock fans enjoy multi-effects that skip and bend even the most familiar songs into new shapes with complementary high quality, professional equipment delivered in-room.

“Hard Rock Mix Up” on Nov. 22, 2013, celebrated the official launch of mix. at the newly unveiled Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs with special guests Tommy Lee & DJ Aero taking center stage. Hosted by two of the biggest names in the world of beats and bass, the event offered a behind-the-scenes look at Hard Rock’s newest property and the cutting-edge mix. amenity program, along with the opportunity to interact and receive mixing lessons from two DJ heavyweights.

To get on the ones and twos, guests simply call the front desk for in-room delivery of the latest Sound of Your Stay® program, mix. Guests may choose from one of several Traktor Kontrol Z1 Systems provided by Native Instruments – an industry leader in computer-based audio production and DJing assets – commonly used by world-champion DJ Shiftee. In addition, mix. includes use of an iPad to experience the next wave of mixing technology, as well as a pair of elite Nixon headphones and video lessons to assist guests who have yet to channel their inner DJ.

With the brand wide launch of mix., The Sound of Your Stay® offers Hard Rock fans three components: tracks., where guests receive an exclusive code to download a personal playlist, curated by music pros and celebs for the ultimate soundtrack to the hotel experience; picks., offering fans a menu of 20 Fender® guitars for an in-room jam session complete with amps and Nixon headphones; and mix., where music fanatics match beats and remix like a pro with the in-room delivery of a Traktor Kontrol Z1 mixer, an iPad loaded with digital mixing software and high-end headphones.
