BROOKLYN, NY – This winter, Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury & lifestyle portfolio, announce the launch of the Winter Chalet, an immersive pop-up experience that celebrates the warmth, cheer, and cozy appeal of the season. From now through February 29, 2024, guests and neighbors are welcomed to a unique winter-themed escape featuring signature cocktails and sweet and savory fare in the ultimate cozy alpine setting. Designed by renowned interior designer Corey Damen Jenkins, the Winter Chalet offers a stylish and sophisticated backdrop that transports guests to the apres ski paradise of a design-driven mountain retreat.
Corey Damen Jenkins is celebrated for his ability to blend vivid colors with layered patterns, creating inspiring and iconic spaces. His work has been featured in prestigious publications, including Architectural Digest, ELLE Decor, Traditional Home, and more. Corey’s talent and creativity will be on full display in the design of The Winter Chalet at Hotel Indigo Williamsburg, promising an unforgettable experience for guests and locals alike.
The Winter Chalet offers an array of fare, from sweet indulgences to savory favorites. From 9 AM to 3 PM, guests can indulge in the Waffle Delight, served with Hot Chocolate or Tea, topped with banana or strawberry, and accompanied by various syrups and spreads.
From 3 PM to 9 PM, a shareable Charcuterie Board showcases a delectable assortment of garlic and herb chicken sausage, spicy Italian chicken sausage, smoked apple chicken sausage, dried mango, dried pineapple, grapes, fig jam, assorted crackers, pepper jack cheese, smoked gouda cheese, and herbed goat cheese. A truly indulgent experience, velvety Chocolate Fondue and savory Cheese Fondue are accompanied by an array of delectable dippers. The afternoon menu also includes a selection of hearty warm bowls, including Pumpkin and Corn Soup, a fragrant and creamy blend capturing the essence of the season, and Onion Mac And Cheese, a decadent twist on a classic dish infused with the deep, sweet notes of caramelized onions.
Complementing the menu of comfort food and treats, the Winter Chalet’s cocktail menu offers classic libations alongside new favorites, including the White Chocolate Espresso Martini, Pepper Honey Hot Toddy, Coquito, and Sorrel, served with or without rum. And for those looking for something warm and comforting, Hot Chocolate and Assorted Herbal Teas are also available.
