HotelsPro set out to “Removing Boundaries” with global agents

Having announced the motto “Removing Boundaries” as the theme of the two-day event, HotelsPro had the opportunity to share the evolving vision of the company and analyze the model the parties have developed over the term of their partnership.

HotelsPro, provider of technology and reservation solutions for travel as part of Metglobal group of companies, hosted 31 of its General Sales Agents spread across 5 continents on December 5th and 6th, in Marriott Hotel Sisli, Istanbul. Having announced the motto “Removing Boundaries” as the theme of the two-day event, HotelsPro had the opportunity to share the evolving vision of the company and analyze the model the parties have developed over the term of their partnership.

Metin Altun, the CEO and Founder of MetGlobal, radiated his enthusiasm to the guests throughout the event. In his speech, Mr. Altun, addressed the vision MetGlobal has been shifting towards and the short-term goals the group set. “People and technology are the two focal points of this shift towards the vision we are unearthing this weekend. We also bring 15 years of experience in travel into our endeavor in content-advertising, e-commerce, software development and online payment operations; aiming to simplify people’s lives and provide innovative solutions to their problems. In light of this vision, we intent to hit the 1 billion $ mark in revenues in 2017” Mr. Altun concluded.

HotelsPro’s Global Director of Business Development, Mr. Mustafa Korkmaz, also addressed the audience and put the emphasis on the “change” towards a more customer-centric strategy, underlying in the motto “Removing Boundaries”. He, then, reflected upon the future developments they plan to execute and what HotelsPro expected from its partners to be able to exceed customer expectations in the coming year.

MetGlobal’s history of devotion to providing solutions to real-world problems of people in online travel -such as business intelligence, business process optimization or online payment tools- were also displayed in Mr. Altun’s closing remarks, in which he made a short assessment of the event, expressed his gratitude to the guests and pointed out that only if we share the vision, will we be able to achieve our mutual goals.
