Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill announces $70,000 and $30,000 inauguration weekend packages

With prime Capitol Hill location, Hyatt hotel offers service and access Room nights start at a premium price.

WASHINGTON – Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill announces its $70,000 Presidential Entourage, and $30,000 Historic Capitol Hill packages, just in time for travelers planning their January 18th- 21st inauguration weekend trip. With its prime Capitol Hill location, Hyatt Regency Washington offers front row access to the nation’s capitol building and inauguration site, deluxe accommodations, special rates and new packages for travelers eager to experience the destination and historic weekend events.

Having recently unveiled a $12 million renovation, Hyatt Regency Washington offers newly renovated guest rooms complete with new mattresses and bedding, carpeting, wall covering and light fixtures, and the installation of the new ecoMode thermostat, to assist with hotel’s energy conservation efforts. The hotel’s Presidential Entourage Package offers four-night accommodation in the hotel’s Presidential Suite, that sleeps up to six guests and offers two connecting king guestrooms. Upon arrival to Washington D.C, guests are greeted at the airport and transported by limousine to the hotel, where travelers are met with a welcome reception in the private lounge at Article One, the hotel’s signature restaurant; hosted by General Manager, Steve Smith.  In room daily, guests will receive morning, afternoon and evening food and beverage amenities created by the hotel’s Executive Chef, Ary Schalick. Chef Schalick will showcase the city’s multi-national markets, preparing mouth watering sweet and savory plates that feature the best culinary products offered in the city including: artisanal meats, cheeses and breads from Eastern Market, cupcakes from Georgetown’s finest, Georgetown Cupcake, seafood from Maine Avenue Fish Market, and fresh baked lavosh breads from Penn Quarter. Guests will also receive daily breakfast-in-bed, and a decadent en-suite dinner, personally prepared by Chef Schalick accompanied by wine pairings chosen by the hotel’s Food and Beverage Director, Jon Davenhall. Guests on the Presidential Entourage Package are also treated to a private tour of the Presidential Campaign exhibit, “Every Four Years,” at the nearby Newseum, and later in the evening, will enjoy a private limousine tour of the city’s monuments, which includes a basket of treats and hot chocolate. To keep the DC winter chill away, guests will cozy up in his and hers Burberry scarves and gloves, and can watch inaugural events from the comfort of a neighboring roof-top. The Hyatt Regency Washington Presidential Entourage Package also includes 6 tickets to the January 20th, All American Ball that is held in the hotel’s iconic Regency ballroom and features all night dancing, six bands, a variety of dinner buffets and open bar. In preparation for the evening affair, guests will receive one-hour massage treatments, professional hairdressing and men’s grooming and shaving services in their room. Upon departure, guests receive a gourmet to-go lunch prepared by Chef Schalick, and return to the airport in limousine style.

For parties of two, the Historic Capitol Package provides a more intimate inaugural experience, offering four nights in the Hyatt Regency Washington’s Capitol Suite.  Package amenities include: airport limousine service, champagne upon arrival, breakfast in bed each morning, daily food and beverage amenities, dinner with wine pairings served by Chef Schalick en-suite one night, two tickets to the All American Ball, a private nighttime tour of the city’s national monuments, Burberry scarves and gloves, one -hour massage treatments and professional hair dressing services or men’s grooming services en suite.
