In Villas Veritas launches new “IVV Africa” Division

Leading private villa rental portfolio to include some of the best safari camps and resorts in Africa.

NEW YORK – In Villas Veritas, the portfolio of some of the world’s best private villas, castles and private islands, has announced the creation of its new “IVV Africa” division. Led by veteran Africa travel specialist Caroline Hunt, this curated selection of properties and experiences features some of the continent’s best safari camps, lodges and villas, including The Royal Portfolio, Singita and Great Plains Conservation.

“The new IVV Africa division will not be as ‘villa-centric,’ but instead concentrate on all facets of African travel from safaris to camps, lodges, villas, coast and city stays,” says Laura Blair, Founder of In Villas Veritas. “We understand that travel to Africa is a compendium of moving parts and possibilities, all diverse and exciting, and all needing to be engineered by expert and knowledgeable hands, such as Caroline’s.”

Born in Zimbabwe to British parents, Caroline worked in the luxury hotel industry for many years in London and New York. Ten years ago, she decided to reconnect with her roots, curating luxury safaris to Africa. Sharing her personal and professional knowledge and expertise, Caroline designs unique journeys that are authentic and impactful for both her clients and the local communities and wildlife they encounter.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s your first time to Africa or you’ve been many times, it has the ability to impress like no other place on Earth,” says Caroline. “All your senses are awakened. There is an intrinsic, primordial connection we feel once we are surrounded by the African bush, whether it’s the vast open plains of the Serengeti or the tropical rainforests of Rwanda. The humility we feel encountering elephant or gorillas at close range deepens our respect for these magnificent creatures and how we must do everything we can to protect all wildlife for future generations. The close bond one forges with the people, though, especially the guides and rangers, is something that everyone comments on. The ready smiles and sense of humor stay with you long after you’ve returned home.”
