LUX* Resorts & Hotels alleviates complexity of managing digital assets using Leonardo technology

LUX* has chosen Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System to combine and store all of its digital hotel property and marketing assets in one central cloud based system.

TORONTO, CANADA and FLOREAL, MAURITIUS – Leonardo Worldwide Corporation announced LUX* Resorts & Hotels, an international cooperation of luxury boutique hotels, has adopted its technology to alleviate the complexity of managing a growing library of high-resolution media for an expanding portfolio of hotel properties and resorts across the Indian Ocean, China and the Middle East.

Today, hotel chains are faced with the challenge of managing increasing amounts of high-resolution digital assets for hotel properties. As digital marketing becomes increasingly dependent on visual content, chains like LUX* are adopting cloud based enterprise systems that enable them to store, share, distribute and display high volumes of hotel media assets easily, seamlessly and securely.

LUX* has chosen Leonardo’s VScape Digital Asset Management System to combine and store all of its digital hotel property and marketing assets in one central cloud based system. In addition to the media management and processing features included in VScape, LUX* also benefits from:

Ability to share access to hotel digital assets with internal and external parties in a branded, secure, monitored and password protected environment via a VScape-connected Private Digital Library.

Connectivity to a network of travel websites which automates the delivery of LUX* hotel media to tens of thousands of travel websites via VScape’s direct connection to the VNetwork.

“As the LUX* Resorts & Hotels brand continues to grow, so does our need to centralize and maintain consistency of our digital assets. We were looking for a centralized media management and library system that would make it easy for us to share digital assets internally and externally with controlled access. We found all of that and more in Leonardo’s VScape solution. Plus, we benefit from the media distribution to the largest travel website network in the world,” said Julian Hagger, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, LUX* Resorts & Hotels.

“Managing thousands of large, high resolution media files for a large portfolio of hotels and controlling access to it is a painful job without the right technology. This has many hotel chains looking for a complete end-to-end media management solution like VScape. We’re confident that VScape, the extensive connectivity of VNetwork and the Private Digital Library will bring greater control and ease to the team at LUX*,” says John McAuliffe, Leonardo’s President.
