Puerto Rico Tourism Company launches B&B Program

This new initiative encourages visitors to enjoy well-known cultural attractions, while experiencing an intimate stay with service provided from a local family.

In efforts to highlight the Island’s welcoming culture and vast variety of accommodations, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) recently launched a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) Program. This new initiative encourages visitors to enjoy well-known cultural attractions, while experiencing an intimate stay with service provided from a local family.

PRTC’s Bed and Breakfasts Inns are the smallest lodging accommodation available on the Island. Each house has 3-6 rooms and is endorsed by PRTC, a guarantee of a quality visit. Breakfast is included in the accommodation, while hosts serve as onsite destination experts, available for personalized recommendations from a local’s perspective.

PRTC inaugurated the program with the certification of three top-rated B&B’s. Casa Sol, the first certified B&B, is a Spanish Colonial home located in Old San Juan and is known as one of the most romantic in the Caribbean. Casa Castellana, is a house distinguished by creole architecture in Condado, and Dos Angeles del Mar is a cozy beach house in Rincon.
