White Tiger PR confirms that the company has been appointed as the sole UK PR agency for Virgin Hotels, working on a six month launch campaign for the brand’s flagship Chicago property.
Virgin Hotels Chicago will open its doors on 15 January. Located in the historic Old Dearborn Bank Building at 203 N. Wabash Avenue, a 26-storey Art Deco landmark building, the hotel will offer 250 guest rooms – or as Virgin Hotels calls them, Chambers – including 40 one-bedroom suites and two penthouse suites. In addition, the hotel will feature meeting spaces, restaurants, lounges and other public areas that reflect the Virgin brand’s stylish and functional legacy.

At the heart of the hotel, The Commons Club will create a members’ club ambience – for drinks, for food, for working and for flirting – whilst the rooftop bar will give great cityscape views (and mean cocktails to accompany the deeply cool entertainment). Miss Ricky’s street-level diner will be open 23 hours every day and Two Zero Three will serve coffee by day, wine by night. There’ll also be a Spa coming in the spring of 2015.
