CityDNA partners with Mabrian to provide cutting-edge travel intelligence to European urban DMOs

Mabrian will be providing the members of CityDNA with up-to-date information on the latest trends in tourism, as well share best-practice examples from case studies of destinations using data to manage and generate inbound tourism in the most efficient and sustainable way.

City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA), the European knowledge sharing alliance for cities and urban regions has today confirmed the signature of a partnership with Mabrian, the leading provider of travel intelligence to the tourism industry.
As part of this partnership Mabrian will be providing the members of CityDNA – made up of more than 115 European leading city and urban DMOs – with up-to-date information on the latest trends in tourism, as well share best-practice examples from case studies of destinations using data to manage and generate inbound tourism in the most efficient and sustainable way.
To achieve this Mabrian will draw upon its experience of working with city destinations all around the world – including Barcelona, Paris, Sevilla and many more – and access to multiple sources of data, including: social listening tools, in-destination spend data pooled from credit card companies, mobile phone geolocation aggregated tracking information, hotel reviews and ratings, and of course air connectivity data.
Along the way, the Mabrian Customer Success team, formed by experts in tourism and travel data, will be offering training, workshops and regular insights to help ensure that users of the service can gain maximum benefits personalised to the needs of their particular destination.
Anna Borduzha, VP of Business Development at Mabrian comments: “CityDNA is the leading alliance for city and urban DMOs around the world and we’re honoured to be ensuring that their members are able to make informed decisions about how, when and where to market their destination to attract the highest quality, most relevant visitors in a sustainable way.”
“We are proud that City Destinations Alliance continues to develop relevant industry partnerships that will help our members in their challenging every-day work life. The importance of timely and reliable data is undeniable. Collaborating with like-minded partners will be pivotal for city tourism boards, particularly in this current geopolitical uncertainty. Innovative collaboration will fast track tourism rebuilding and strengthen our collective resilience for the long run”, concludes Petra Stušek, President of City Destinations Alliance.
