MARTa Lounge

The Museum MARTa, which opened in Herford in 2004, is presenting a kind of art tourism pre-opening on an area of over 100 square metres at the ITB Berlin.

Herford`s cultural pride is developing at a central location near the city`s station. The foundation stone was laid several months ago and the doors will open in 2004. The name MARTa incorporates the German words for furniture, museum, art environment or architecture. The museum has been planned by the star architect Frank O`Gehry. Jan Hoet is the second trump card for this ambitious city in eastern Westphalia.

KNK (Conference of National Cultural Facilities)

Among the major items on the supporting programme of the Cultural Tourism hall is the presentation of a project by the State Ministry for Cultural Affairs and Media of the Federal Republic of Germany.

IFEA Europe

IFEA Europe (International Festival & Event Association) is making its first appearance at the ITB Berlin.
