Fubra launches the UK's first airport parking comparison app

The app complements the Airport Parking Shop website, which has helped to find and book over 1.5 million car park stays and acquired over 60,000 user reviews over the last 11 years since its launch in 2003.

ALDERSHOT, ENGLAND – An Internet publisher from Hampshire has launched the UK’s first airport parking comparison app for iOS and Android devices. Starting this week, users of smartphones and tablets can compare real-time prices and availability of airport parking across the UK’s leading airports using the Airport Parking Shop app.

The app complements the Airport Parking Shop website, which has helped to find and book over 1.5 million car park stays and acquired over 60,000 user reviews over the last 11 years since its launch in 2003.

Developed in-house by the Fubra Limited team over just two weeks, the app compares prices at over 300 car parks, available from eight leading parking providers and consolidators.

“The free app is an exciting extension of our existing website, which has been a trusted booking companion for over a decade to many leisure and business travellers,” said Paul Maunders, the director and co-founder of Fubra Limited. “With smartphone and tablet users set to exceed 50% of all visitors to our Airport Parking Shop website in January 2015, this is a timely addition to the portfolio of apps the company has developed in the last several years.”

The Airport Parking Shop app allows smartphone users to find the right price, preferred transfer time and type of service required, as well as filter results for on-airport, off-airport and meet-and-greet parking.

As the pioneers of airport parking comparison in the UK, Airport Parking Shop has a history of working closely with the airport parking community. “We know our users tend to leave booking airport parking to the last minute,” says Jurga Sefton, the SEO manager at Fubra Limited. “Now they can benefit from on-the-go mobile access to lower rates instead of paying drive-up prices, right up to their departure date.”
