Trip Republic partnered up with travel industry leaders

Trip Republic has become the social travel planner with the largest amount of connected travel suppliers, partnering up with Booking.com, Skyscanner, Viator, Musement, Uber and Viagogo and featuring user content from Foursquare and Instagram.

Trip Republic, the Helsinki based travel planning and booking startup, has launched the full version of the travel planner. Over 3,000 travel plans have been created using Trip Republic in the four months since beta launch.

Trip Republic has become the social travel planner with the largest amount of connected travel suppliers, partnering up with Booking.com, Skyscanner, Viator, Musement, Uber and Viagogo and featuring user content from Foursquare and Instagram. Bookings and activities from the partner sites can be added to trip plans to create a personal trip itinerary.

“As a travel planning solution, Trip Republic has a large focus on the user experience. During the last months, we have gained large amounts of users and learned from every one of them. Trip Republic is all about being easy to use – our aim is to make travel a seamless experience” says Joen Schauman, CEO of Trip Republic.

Trip Republic is a tool used for three stages of travel. Firstly, users get travel inspiration from the community by browsing trips created by other travellers and travel professionals. Trip Republic is a social planner where users can discuss and plan trips together with co-travellers. Thirdly, Trip Republic is a trip sharing platform where users share past travel experiences and personal Instagram images.

Trip Republic also offers co-branded software solutions to travel industry partners wanting to manage or up-sell current travel customers. Trip Republic was nominated at Travel Technology Europe as a Travel Disruptor for 2016.
