New “Book by the Door” technology puts agents on-location at vacation homes around the world.

Using the technology, travel agents can access high-resolution imagery of more than 20,000 individually photographed vacation home properties – affording them greater confidence in booking on behalf of their client, and the ability to provide a superior level of customer service.

Until now, travel agents have traditionally had very little detail or visibility into the actual vacation home they were booking on behalf of their client. Standard vacation bookings were done on an “allocation and arrival” basis where agents review sample images online and have a central address where guests are assigned their unit and given final details. With Book by the Door technology, travel agents can view the photos of the actual unit and receive the specific address where their guest will arrive and stay.
