Greece has just inaugurated its new Spa area.
The new Dassia Chandris Hotel Spa in Corfu was designed by AMK Architecture & Design. The target was to create a fresh relaxing area for the rejuvenation of the soul and body.
The new facility, created in a 200 m2 area, includes a reception and a small shop, one Thermal Suite with Sauna, Steam and Whirlpool, five Treatment rooms, one Relax area, Changing rooms. The new gym and public toilets next door and 4 outdoor cabanas by the pool have been created to provide clients with a full experience.
The curved outside walls of the treatment rooms hide all doors and create a sculptured corridor.
The Relax area is hidden behind a see-through wooden privacy screen. The illumination is discreet, primarily indirect creating a soft and relaxed atmosphere, which is amplified via natural textured materials on earthy colors.
