There is still time left for meeting planners and exhibitors to register for the 13th annual Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI<.>) Affordable Meetings National show, September 4 – 5, 2002, at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.



The two-day event will offer an unmatched exposition (71/2 hours of quality time during this two-day period) and a dynamic program of 32 educational seminars on topics related to cost-effective meeting planning free-of-charge to qualified meeting planners from across the country.



Close to from a variety of organizations, with a majority representing corporate, association and independent sectors and the balance from government, non-profit, education, religious, medical/health care organizations, travel agents, trade show management and military groups, are expected to visit HSMAI`s Affordable Meetings National 2002 show.



The trade exposition, a popular draw because of the quality and quantity of suppliers, is almost sold out in terms of booth space with nearly 700 booths housing approximately 600 exhibiting companies.



HSMAI`s Affordable Meetings National show offers attendees the opportunity to shop at a trade exposition with a variety of suppliers including hotels and resorts, university conference centers, unique meeting sites, convention and visitor bureaus, transportation companies, software and audiovisual businesses, and other meeting and convention suppliers. Prize giveaways and a networking reception round-out the show program.



Golf enthusiasts looking fore additional networking opportunities following HSMAI`s Affordable Meetings National can register for a special Jack & Jill Challenge golf tournament, which will be held Friday, September 6 at the Virginia Oakes Golf Course on Lake Manassas in Gainesville, VA. Golfers have the opportunity to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes.
