HomeToGo launches in U.S.

Three million vacation rental listings now available with one-click search.

BERLIN, GERMANY – HomeToGo now connects to the world’s biggest online travel booking market: the United States. HomeToGo.com brings vacation seekers 3 million offerings in over 200 countries from more than 150 vacation rental websites.

“This is a very exciting time for HomeToGo,” says CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Patrick Andra. “The impressive variety in our search results of vacation rentals ranging from charming waterfront cottages to swanky modern city apartments makes it easier to secure vacation home rentals.” HomeToGo is the largest vacation rental metasearch engine in the world which has primarily done business in Europe. “With the tremendous variety of global accommodations we have in our portfolio it was the perfect time to debut this system in the United States,” adds Dr. Andra.

HomeToGo’s successful site launched in Europe, namely in Germany, France, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom, Spain, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. American tourists were finding success on the site which spawned a U.S. market immersion.

Currently served by large home-share companies, the U.S. online travel industry is fragmented in regards to vacation rentals with thousands of companies in the U.S. alone. Searching and comparing vacation rentals can be time consuming and confusing due to overlapping inventory and booking fees. HomeToGo eliminates this with a highly designed platform that has already achieved tremendous success in Europe.

With the site’s smart filtering function, users can find their ideal holiday rental by sorting according to their preferred destination, travel dates, budget and amenities. There are additional features such as finding pet friendly rentals or holiday homes with a pool. Once interested, users simply click on the property which redirects them to the respective partner’s website to complete the booking process. HomeToGo’s service is free of cost to consumers.

More American tourists are gravitating towards vacation home rentals for their accommodations. “The sometimes restrictive nature of staying in a traditional hotel room is not always the best solution for families or groups of tourists,” explains Dr. Andra. “HomeToGo links this new type of vacation traveler with more options and a wider opportunity of vacation experiences.”

Vacation home rentals are appealing to more and more tourists allowing them to extend their travel times, delve deeper into local culture and have a more authentic and relaxing holiday.
