SnapShot, a powerful hotel data and demand management startup, hired industry expert Janel Clark as its Head of Consultancy & Education.
Janel, a former Director of Revenue at Avvio and Revenue by Design, both in London, United Kingdom, will drive the Educational programmes already offered by SnapShot, including the bootcamps and the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). In the past, Janel has been involved in the organization and management of revenue management training academies throughout EMEA. Her background in revenue management will allow SnapShot to add further RM training and consultancy to its Educational programmes roster:
“My role is to drive the Educational programmes which have already been developed (Bootcamps and MOOCS), and to create professional development and training solutions for hotels,” Clark said. “I will also oversee the existing outsource RM services, with a view to growing this side of the company in the long term,” she added.
“Janel’s depth of operational, consultancy & technology experience means that she is well placed to develop our educational and consulting offerings, and will head up teams in both the UK and Germany,” explained David Turnbull, SnapShot Chief Operating Officer. He added: “As we progressively developed a suite of technology applications in the last 2 years, we have grown the depth of our corresponding Education & Consultancy services. This has focused on coaching industry professionals and future leaders about the opportunities to increase long term asset value and short-term profit through effective management of a hotels’ demand.”
