Budapest Airport doubles frequency to Rotterdam with Transavia

Announcing the doubling of its daily route to Rotterdam from next summer, the Air France KLM Group member will be adding more than 1,000 seats to the Hungarian gateway’s weekly schedule.

On the back of being Highly Commended in the 4-20 million passengers category at the World Routes Marketing Awards in Durban last night, Budapest Airport confirms further enhancements with airline partner Transavia. Announcing the doubling of its daily route to Rotterdam from next summer, the Air France KLM Group member will be adding more than 1,000 seats to the Hungarian gateway’s weekly schedule.

Commenting on the frequency increase, Mattjis ten Brink, General Director, Transavia said: “Earlier this year we launched Transavia’s ambitious new growth goals and we are now in a position to make this happen. Our passengers are the focus of everything we do and we are going the extra mile to continue serving them as optimally as possible.”

Confirming the development with its airline partner at World Routes, Balazs Bogats, Head of Airline Development, Budapest Airport added: “Our Airline Development Team works hard to enrich proven successful routes. We are tremendously pleased that Transavia has chosen to double its Rotterdam connection with Budapest.”
