Zoom Airlines announced extra direct flights from London Gatwick to Toronto and Ottawa to cope with the huge demand for its low-cost scheduled flights at Christmas and New Year.
The extra Toronto service will operate on December 21 returning on December 28, 31 or January 4 from £363. The additional Ottawa service will depart on December 22 returning on January 3.
Debbie Marshall, UK director of Zoom Airlines, said today: “We have experienced an outstanding volume of bookings for the Christmas and New Year period and we are delighted to be offering these additional flights.
“With low-cost full scheduled flights direct to Canada all year round, we have made it far more affordable for those with friends and family on the other side of the Atlantic to visit them for the festive season.”
The Zoom winter schedule begins in November with flights from Gatwick and Glasgow to Toronto and Vancouver. From 18 December to 30 April, the full winter schedule will be:-
Wednesday: Gatwick -Vancouver
Thursday: Gatwick- Glasgow – Vancouver
Friday: Gatwick – Montreal – Toronto
Saturday: Gatwick – Vancouver
Sunday: Gatwick – Glasgow – Toronto
