Bateaux Dubai, the unique dining cruise vessel on Dubai Creek, has introduced a scintillating selection of new dishes to accompany the already existing designer a la carte menu.
Among the starter menu, it is the Seared Tuna with Exotic Fruit Salad, Sesame and Honey Soya Dressing, which current dinner cruise guests can look forward to. This dish is in addition to the other options which include the Ballottine of Foie Gras, Marinated Tiger Prawns, Arabic Mezzeh, Grilled Goat`s Cheese or Buttered Asparagus.
Executive Chef Tunji Oladipo`s expertise is particularly noticeable when admiring the selection of main courses. The Roasted Chicken Breast, Arabian Gulf Seafood `en Papilotte`, Slow Roast Beef Sirloin and Smoked Duck Breast are all existing options which feature new presentations and a different dimension of taste. On top of this, two new dishes have been added to the main course section. The Ricotta & Spinach Cannelloni with Baby Artichokes, Marinated Tomatoes and Aged Balsamic Vinegar, has become an extremely popular vegetarian option, while the Pan Fried Hamour with Pea & Beef Bacon Hash is an example of how to prepare one of the Gulf`s most popular seafood delicacies.
Desserts are still a delectable affair aboard Bateaux Dubai, and with choices like Roasted Peach with Shortbread & Cinnamon Ice Cream, Spiced Pear with Almond Cake & Coconut Ice Cream, and Rosemary Creme Brulee with Raspberry Sorbet, there is not much to worry about. A selection of sorbet or farm house cheeses are also available, but for the diehard sweet tooth, the Dark Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream has become somewhat of a tradition on Bateaux Dubai.
