Pop-up art gallery launches flights to Rome from London Cirty Airport

Flights to Rome depart London City Airport at 11.40am, Monday to Saturday and add to Alitalia’s existing service from LCY to Milan, which has increased to three daily flights, Monday to Friday.

Passengers found themselves with plenty to look at arriving at London City Airport this week, as the check-in area was turned into a pop-up art gallery to mark the launch of the new Alitalia service to Rome.

A mini exhibition was unveiled to celebrate the new route and featured giant photographs of major landmarks including the Colosseum and St Peter’s Square in Rome’s historic centre, which is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.
