The Jane E. Schuldt Master Motivator Award is presented annually to a SITE member who upholds the highest standard of excellence in creating and delivering successful incentive travel and motivational events and exudes energy, enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit in support of the global incentive travel community.

Rhonda Brewer, CITP, Vice President Sales North America, BCD Meetings & Events was honored with the Jane E. Schuldt Society for Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) Master Motivator Award at this year’s IMEX Gala Dinner this past week in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Jane E. Schuldt Master Motivator Award is presented annually to a SITE member who upholds the highest standard of excellence in creating and delivering successful incentive travel and motivational events and exudes energy, enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit in support of the global incentive travel community. The award is in honor of the late Jane E. Schuldt, past president of both SITE and the SITE Foundation.

Rhonda started her career in the incentive industry in 1990 while at Maritz Travel, where she held a variety of positions. At SITE, she served on the sponsorship commmittee for SITE NITE North America and SITE Classic and held positions on both SITE’s global board and executive committee. She was SITE Global President in 2015. Rhonda is also heavily involved in ECPAT, an organization that helps fight human trafficking.

“Winning the Jane Schuldt award was such an incredible honor as Jane was such a mentor to me and is the reason I got involved in SITE. Watching how she engaged with everyone and gave back to our industry was such an inspiration and I think we can all learn from the legacy she left. I hope I can only leave a similar legacy,” said Rhonda.

SITE CEO Didier Scaillet, CIS, CITP, said, “Rhonda is known for her boundless energy and can regularly be found early morning at SITE events around the world decked out in running gear, pounding the pavements. She sees no limits and she knows no horizons.Thankfully for SITE she has also brought her vision to us, serving brilliantly on SITE’s board of directors and leading our association fearlessly and steadfastly as president.”

Two other SITE members were honored with The Paul Flackett IMEX Academy Awards, named in tribute to the former IMEX Managing Director.

Recognized for their long-term commitment to the industry, Madelyn Marusa, DMCP, CIS VP, Industry Relations, Strategic Initiatives PRA Business Events, Inc. and Heike Mahmoud, CMP, Chief Operating Officer, Congress Center Hamburg, a past president of SITE’s Germany chapter from 2004-2011, received their awards at the gala.
