The best ski resort in Russia is ready to cooperate with travel agencies

New road and train networks connect the resort Rosa Khutor with surrounding cities and the region's main airport, and as the 2014 Olympic Winter Games draws near, further transportation enhancements continue to be made in the region.

A presentation of a new ski resort Rosa Khutor located in Krasnaya Polyana was held within the framework of the exhibition “Tourism-2012”. This ski resort will welcome Olympic competition in 2014. Here will be played 30 sets of awards.

According to the Head of Sales and Marketing department of the complex Rosa Khutor Anastasia Mikhalchenko, the resort has 7 lifts; the total length of the existing tracks is 38 km. According to experts, this is the best ski resort in Russia. Its concept provides for the creation of conditions for year-round recreation. For the new season the resort will open several new ski runs, gondola lift “Strela” (1600 m length) and 3 chairlifts.

Four new hotels (3* and 4*, 800 rooms) will be open, so that 6 hotels will welcome guests this season, bringing the total number of hotel rooms to 1600.

According to Mikhalchenko, for the Olympics the resort will have 18 lifts, ski tracks totaling about 76 km (83 tracks), the capacity of the complex will increase to 13 thousand people per day.

Anastasia Mikhalchenko informed that the French company Compaignie des Alpes, responsible for managing this resort, is ready to cooperate with travel agencies on commission. The resort’s offerings include hotel rooms and ski passes, ski equipment, training in ski school, transfers and excursions.
